Skull cup final
Well no matter what happened, we were going to have a repeat winner.
Happily I can announce that the Wood Elves defeated the Amazons 2-1 to claim the Skull Cup.
Cas were 1-1
Gate 179K fans (A league record!)
Special event, Once again the brewmaster joins in the fun.
Elves before match pay off remaining 10K loan and borrow 70K more. They then proceed to hire Legion and freeboot a lineelf. leaving them with only 5K in their treasury.
Their two handicaps were "that boys got talent" and extra training.
The extra reroll was never a factor, but the Dryad was a boon, especially with the Oak aspect chosen (+str, +av, -Ag, Thick Skull Stat line 5428)
Woodies win the toss and elect to receive. They decide to stall and the Amazons stop them from scoring. Half ends 0-0 . 2nd half, nuns score in three turns, Elves then 1 turn score.
Bad luck picking up the ball, and a very fortunate series of bounces, sets the elves up to run in, snag the ball and then score on turn 15.
The Amazons set up to try to one turn score, but Rebecca's long door spell falls three squares short.

What can I say...
Nuffle loved me.
I will play the woodelves again next round as their two trophies "stack" for this upcoming round.
I'll get an additional 5K per game, and I will also still get to ignore one players handicap roll per game.
