Week 4 exhibition game Vampires vs Chaos Theory

Ok, so lets just get right to the point.

Entropy is the baddest Mother ever to grace the pitch. Running late along with four other of his team mates, he misses, the entire 1st half. Suffering from Morley's revenge he misses the kickoff for the 2nd half. Chaos took 7 turns to defensively score. Entropy overcomes his niggling injury and lines up for the turn 8 obligatory kickoff.

He blitzes a Thrall, knocks him down and kills him (rolls 7 on AV roll, breaks with MB, rolls 8 on injury roll, cas with RSH) scoring his 57th cas and reclaiming sole possesion of the title "the #1 cause of death". The fans were so impressed that they then award him the MVP for the game.

5 Comments:

  • Graeme Bayless, an old friend who recently moved back to the bay area, subbed for the Vampires. He's quite good, and extremely fast. He inquired about joining our league next round, but I also think that he should be invited to play in our HavenHurst tournament.

He actually beat me in OT, but Exhibition games are not allowed to have OT, so the 2-1 loss became a 1-1 tie. This was good news for chaos, as they had rolled a 2 for FF, and it would have gone down with a loss.

One interesting thing that Graeme does with his player movement is that he moves his pieces, two squares at a time. Easy enough to follow along, and defintely speeded up play. I will try to incorporate this technique in my games from now on.

  • "oh wait I found him, he's listed as the 22nd all time cas leader in my, er I mean the HUMBBL best hitter list. Very impressive! Another four cas and he'll tie one of the players on the now defunct goblin team. Heck another 50 and he'll start to threaten my lead. Keep up the "good" work, Boy."

  • Babbi,
That threat would mean something except your entire team's casuality record wouldn't even crack the top ten on my, dang it, I mean the HUMBBL alltime Hitter list.

    Buh-Bye, Babbi... Buh-Bye.

  • Babbi,
You raise an interesting point. Of the 20+ kills that Chaos Theory has racked up in its history, five of them were Halflings and Gobbos. None of them have been dwarves. We'll try to correct that for you!

    Cheers!
